History and outlook

As part of the TX Group, TX Markets has a history that goes back a very long way. Classified ads originally appeared in print newspapers; since then, offers on online marketplaces have become an established feature of everyday life, driving our company's digitalization ahead. This experience has influenced our development over the years – and we also have great ambitions for the future.

At TX Markets, we have steadily developed our existing portfolio of online marketplaces in recent years, while investing in new digital business models both in Switzerland and abroad. This strategy has made TX Markets into one of Switzerland's largest digital companies.
2008
The first stake in our real estate portal was acquired in 2008, and investments increased over the years. ImmoStreet.ch, the platform for French-speaking Switzerland, was added to the Homegate portfolio later on. Homegate is now fully owned by TX Markets.
2012
JobCloud, the leading company in the Swiss job market, is a joint venture founded with Ringier in 2012. Alongside leading job portals such as jobs.ch, JobScout24.ch and jobup.ch, the JobCloud portfolio includes various other job platforms as well as technologies with promising prospects for the future.
2013
A 50% stake in tutti.ch, the popular small ad platform, was acquired through a partnership with Schibsted in 2013. tutti.ch is now fully owned by TX Markets.
2015
Ricardo, the largest online marketplace in Switzerland, was added to our portfolio in 2015.
2020
When the TX Group was reorganised at the beginning of 2020 (adjust year), TX Markets was created as a company under the Group umbrella, with responsibility for all the TX Group's marketplaces.

We want to continue expanding our marketplaces' leading positions in Switzerland and – at the same time – we're seeking out innovative digital business models abroad. This strategy builds on our existing expertise in our core business. It provides the basis for us to achieve success both in the local market and also as an active investor.
